Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a Logistics Export Executive to join our Logistics Department This is a full time, office-based position, working Monday to Friday from our Global Headquarters in Hassocks, West Sussex.

Function:
To work as part of the Logistics team to ensure that all export shipments are handled in
accordance with company procedures and meet all operational requirements. Provide a
high quality of service to all Avtrade customers and departments in all aspects of the
Logistics function.

Responsibilities

Recognise and react to the urgency of customer orders including Aircraft on Ground (AOG), Immediate Operational Requirement (IOR), and routine shipment requests, adhering to set targets and KPIs.
Process Domestic/International express parcel courier shipments.
Process Domestic/International Road freight shipments utilising dedicated, groupage, co-load methods.
Process International Air & Ocean freight shipments.
Organise the shipment of hazardous, heavyweight, and oversized material in accordance with shipping constraints

Requirements

Previous experience in a Logistics, Imports, Exports, Transportation, Compliance, Parcel Courier, Supply Chain, Customs, Shipping, Procurement role desirable.
Knowledge of Export, Import and transportation procedures, operations, controls, regulations, and compliance desirable but not essential.
